Access to medical records is generally needed for Travel Claims Facilities to check that your medical history corresponds to what you have stated on your policy. It's an essential document for claims regarding hospital or medical expenses, personal accident and liability; however can be a requirement for any claim that is submitted to us.

How do I grant access to my medical records?
The authorisation for us to access your records is included in the relevant claim form for the section you are claiming under. Simply ask your UK General Practitioner (GP) to fill in this section and attach it to your claim form alongside any other supporting documentation.
