White Water Rafting, Futaleufu, Chile

The river's name, Futaleufu, is derived from a native Tehuelche Indian word meaning 'big big river', and it definitely lives up to it. The 'worst' part of this huge white-water-rafting course is called 'The Throne Room' and the hardest rapid is appropriately named 'The Terminator'.

Sky-diving over Mount Everest, Nepal

Mount Hua Shan ascent, Shaanxi Province, China

Most people who have seen, or even completed, this trek have said it is the scariest walk in the world. Foot-wide wooden planks are nailed into the mountainside for intrepid adrenaline-junkies to make their away across before climbing up steep staircases and vertical ascents.

Cave-diving at the Devil's Eye Cave in Florida

One of the most popular cave-diving sites in the whole world, there's 30,000 feet of mapped passageway to explore here - with more to explore and adequately map. It's here that the Devil Spring run joins the Santa Fe river - at the bottom of this opening, water spills out from a cave opening like a burst pipe.

Bungee-jumping at the AJ Hackett Macau Tower in China/Victoria Falls, Zambia/Zimbabwe

The site for the highest commercial bungee-jump in the world is the AJ Hackett Macau Tower, at 764 feet. Jumpers have to leap from a platform and experience the ultimate free-fall experience before rebounding back up. Jumps happen in all weather conditions because of the specialist bungy-technology that the owners have innovated.

Almost half the height is the Victoria Falls bungee-jump, at a still-impressive 364 feet drop. Plummet towards the rapids of the Zambezi river and let your adrenaline flow!
