What is curtailment travel insurance?

Curtailment travel insurance will cover you in the event that you have to cut your holiday or trip short and return home earlier than planned. This may be due to sustaining a serious illness or injury, or a close relative is taken ill or has died whilst you were away.

In most cases, Emergency Assistance Facilities (EAF) will have been involved in your case and taken care of any incurred medical expenses; however, other things that you may need to claim for include:

The claim form clearly states what additional information and documentation is required in order to support your claim. We strongly recommend that you keep copies of all items that you send to us, just in case the originals are lost in the post.

Please ensure that you answer all claim form questions as fully, truthfully and as accurate as possible as this will enable your claim to be processed more efficiently.
